Dynamometer testing

Strategically located around the world, we use our own noise dynamometers to test the durability and performance of shims in reducing noise, vibration, and harshness.

Our capabilities extend beyond standard tests, as we can also conduct custom-designed tests to meet specific customer requirements.

Simulating all conditions

With our state-of-the-art dynamometers, we can simulate a wide range of weather conditions, ensuring the functionality and the performance of shims regardless of temperature or weather extremes. Our climate control capabilities allow us to replicate temperatures ranging from -20°C to +40°C, guaranteeing accurate performance assessment in any environmental scenario.

BUILT IN-HOUSE FOR HIGH FLEXIBILITY

Unlike conventional testing facilities, Meneta’s dynamometers are designed, built, and programmed in-house, providing us with exceptional flexibility.

This allows us to quickly re-program our equipment to conduct a diverse range of tests tailored to our customers’ specific needs.

From assessing brake systems in extreme cold conditions to evaluating different pressures and speeds, our dynamometers are versatile and adaptable.

EXPANDED SERVICES

With our commitment to excellence, we have recently expanded our test center in Koblenz, Germany, to further enhance our services. This expansion includes the addition of NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) fixtures tailored to customer-specific requirements. With these new capabilities, we now offer a complete dyno testing package that includes:

NVH dynamometer brake testing
NVH shim prototyping
NVH engineering service and support
FRF (Frequency Response Function) measurements and analysis
Pad modifications such as grinding and chamfering.
