Meneta Group is a global supplier of high-quality automotive components and composite materials since 1953.

Meneta has specialized in development, test and production of anti-noise shims and back plates for manufacturers of disc brake linings for the automotive industry – both for OE and the after market. For the sealing, acoustic, vibration, and friction markets, we produce multi-composite, sealing, and gasket materials.

Employing more than 2,000 dedicated employees globally, we design, test, and produce millions of brake shims, back plates, and brake components each year. With more than 150,000 different material combinations for our noise-reducing shims, we can produce for any application.

Having a unique capacity to carry out complex NVH noise simulation tests in our labs and testing cabins with the goal to provide silent, squeal-free brakes – we have positioned us as one of the world leaders within our field. Additionally, we offer free testing with our unique in-house developed simulation tool. The Meneta Black Box ™ is a shim model that will accurately simulate the NVH impact of a shim over temperature and pressure in a brake squeal simulation model, hereby reducing time to market and development costs.
