Organizational changes in Meneta Group’s top management from January, 2019
After 30 years at Meneta, Johnny Haakonsson resigns as Group CEO and hands over the management and development of Meneta’s companies to Kim Oestergaard from January 1, 2019.
At the age of 70, Johnny Haakonsson will step down on December 31, 2018. From the new year onward, Johnny Haakonsson will continue as adviser to the owners and as Chairman of the Board in Meneta’s Danish companies.
Today, Meneta is a well-established name in the global brake industry and has since its beginnings showed continuous growth. The 2018 results will once again set an unprecedented record with a total group turnover around 115 mil. US dollars generated in the group’s factories and brake test centers in Denmark, Germany, India, China and the US, where Meneta produces various brake components and runs brake tests for the automotive industry.
As of January 1, 2019, Kim Oestergaard will take over as Group CEO of the Meneta Group while he continues as Managing Director of Meneta Advanced Shims Technology A/S – a position he has held since 2015.
As of January 1, 2019, Ole Magaard, International Operations Director, will take over Johnny Haakonsson’s position as Chairman of the Board of Meneta’s Indian and Chinese companies.
In the Meneta Group’s new company, Meneta Composite Materials ApS, Ole Jensen Bang will assume the position of Managing Director per January 1, 2019.
Jens Fredskov will continue as Managing Director of Meneta Danmark ApS.
